peg in her home galleryPeg is currently a studio potter who lives in Carbondale, Colorado and teaches at the Carbondale Clay Center. After receiving a degree from Brooks Institute of Photography, she studied ceramics in apprenticeship with Henry Mead in Castle Rock, Colorado. She has also studied with the late Ken Ferguson, Jeff Oestreich, Sandy Simon and the late David Shaner.

Peg exhibits her work internationally. Her pieces have been featured in Ceramics Monthly and the books Pots in the Kitchen by Josie Walter, The Art of Contemporary American Pottery by Kevin A. Hluch, The Best of Pottery, The Best of Pottery 2, and Wheel Thrown Ceramics, by Don Davis. She has taught workshops at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village, Colorado, the Touchstone Center for Crafts in Farmington, Pennsylvania, Peters Valley Craft Education Center in Layton, New Jersey, and Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. Currently most of Peg's work focuses on wood-fired, functional ceramics and she fires her pieces in a Bourry-box style wood kiln.
